Multiverse is one of the largest EdTech companies worldwide. Since 2016, they've trained over 5,000 apprentices in partnerships with some of the world’s best employers. Of those, 50% are from underrepresented ethnic backgrounds, 53% are women and 1/3 come from the UK’s most deprived postcodes.


They reached out to us to help them design the Client experience, used by companies such as Facebook, Google, Morgan Stanley, Bloomberg & Citi to track and manage their apprenticeship programs.

When we started our collaboration with Multiverse, they were in the early stages of defining what the new Client experience should look like. We've worked hand in hand with Product & Engineering to define the requirements through workshops, co-design sessions and customer research.


Our goal was to get as quickly as possible to a prototype that we can put in front of customers for feedback, and iterate rapidly.

We started by running a vision workshop, that allowed us to cast a wide net and imagine the ideal Client experience.

The Client experience team was based in New York, so we've adapted our processes and ways of working to accommodate async collaboration.

Rapid iteration

Given the large scope and tight deadline, we had to move fast. We got to the initial prototype in just 2 weeks, and designed a whole new experience in a bit over 2 months.
